The Student Club

If you are a creative person full of ideas and energy, Student club is a place for you! Here you can find the use of any of your talent. Whether you sing, dance, play musical instruments, paint, take photos, do stand-up comedy and much more. We are always open for students with interesting ideas, or simply with the desire to participate in arts and culture events.

"Crystal" Vocal Ensemble 
The band is made up of three charming female students of our University. As well as singing in the band they perform solo, and you will see them on stage at the nearly coming event! 
Vocal Ensemble is a regionally ranked team, the finalist of "Student Spring in Siberia" festival competition.

"Emotions" Dance Team
The SSUWT «Emotions» Dance Team is a young team who participates in every event of university life. The 5-8 member team performs regularly at home celebrations and annual competitions, travels to Transport dedicated meetings and summits, and also performs at other sporting events as available.

University Student Theatre
Troupe has implemented two theatrical performances on SSUWT stage with great success. Outstanding recitationists are the award winners of the regional festival "Student Spring in Siberia" competition and the award winners of the All-Russia festival-competition of children's and youth creativity "The Power of Art”.

SSUWT KVN league
A sense of humor can be a person's greatest asset. This skill can help you interact easily with others, improve your health, and even help diffuse difficult situations. The KVN is a comedian competition where teams (usually each faculty has its own team) compete by giving funny answers to questions and showing prepared sketches. SSUWT KVN league is open for those who have good sense of humor and likes keeping grins on others’ faces.

SSUWT student brigades

Headquarters of SSUWT student brigades includes "Kraski" Pedagogical team whose main activity lies in providing early childhood education or summer work as a camp counselors. Being a counselor means being a teacher, a leader and a friend to a group of children between the ages of 7 and 17. Counselor is responsible for the safety and well-being of his campers.  He spends most of the day outdoors. All counselors perform a wide variety of duties and each day brings something new!

Headquarters also contains "Asterion" Construction team and "Siberian sturgeon" Workers brigade. Involving into one of those you hold on the good old tradition adopted during the Soviet period to organize youth labor to help and engage students in the development process of the national economy.

Participants are also learning leadership; attend workshops and various educational activities. «Student brigades» is a challenging program to encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone; it is an opportunity to spend an unforgettable summer, explore different parts of Russia and make money!

Students' representative council

Students' representative council is a community representing students’ interests in the government of the university. Delegates from all faculties discuss the urgent issues at the meetings with the university government and other structures; they provide information campaigns within their faculties as well.

SSUWT volunteers

SSUWT volunteers are the part of the Novosibirsk region Volunteer Corps. They participate in different charity events: young people can provide an array of helpful services to older people including teaching new technology, visiting those who are isolated, and helping with home chores; students survey older homeowners, identify needed yard and household repairs. Volunteers are the essential part of any significant sport event such Olympics. They offer directions between the venues, advice on negotiating security checkpoints and brighten the days of visitors with their cheery demeanor and eagerness to help! Being a volunteer means to be in the center of the action of major events of the city, region and the whole country. Dedicating your time as a volunteer helps you make new friends, expand your network, and boost your social skills.
